Amanda Levendowski (@levendowski) on crafting online Harassment and Abuse Reporting Policies (HARP):

Attorney and Internet Law & Policy Foundry fellow Amanda Levendowski will discuss how to craft effective online harassment and abuse reporting policies (HARP). She will discuss the online harassment taxonomy and platform permeability matrix that she developed to help users, designers, researchers and platforms conceptualize problems in online communities. Amanda will also explore various approaches to tackling online harassment, with a focus on developing community norms. This talk will also examine nonconsensual pornography, commonly referred to as “revenge porn,” as a study in the challenges of legal and regulatory enforcement against harassers.
