Suisui (Sway) Wang is a research and policy analyst with the Trustworthy Infrastructures program at Data & Society. As a PhD candidate in gender studies at Indiana University, his work at D&S is supported by Indiana University’s Graduate Pathways Fellowship. With an interest in the relationship between datafication and marginalization, Suisui is working on a two-part project on the histories and politics of crisis hotlines, consisting of a global media genealogy of feminist and queer activisms and an ethnographic inquiry on the future of crisis work.
