Camille Horton is Data & Society’s special events associate, organizing and hosting events that support the organization’s development efforts. She holds a bachelor’s degree in foreign affairs from the University of Virginia, where she pursued a concentration in political media and social revolutions. While at UVA, she served as director of its Multicultural Student Center, where she oversaw programming and events that encouraged dialogue and cultivated a space for historically underrepresented students to congregate and build community. She was later a development intern at the New York Historical Society, where she worked to secure funding for an exhibit on the history of hip-hop in New York City.
