Gloria Mendoza

Gloria Mendoza was the Senior Designer at Data & Society, and oversaw our visual and digital presence across publications and platforms. Previously, she was at the Vera Institute of Justice where she worked on developing branding guidelines and leading branding projects such as event branding, environmental signage, and creative direction for custom artwork. She has also worked as a layout design fellow at the American Museum of Natural History, the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, and Oxford University Press. Gloria has supported other non-profits on a freelance basis. She has designed editorial photo books for LaGuardia Community College and Jamaica Center for the Arts and Learning.

Along with her graphic design studies, she is interested in design thinking applied to the public sector, user experience, and service design. In her spare time, Gloria likes to study foreign languages such as Italian and German and watches international films to practice.
