Sam Hinds

Sam Hinds is an alumnus of Data & Society, where she led communications, digital content, design and creative ideation, media strategy, and curatorial and cultural partnerships. She spearheaded the launch of foundational work on media manipulation and disinformation online.

Previous roles include directing major exhibition communications for Creative Time, serving as Editor-at-Large for The New Inquiry, running post-genocide accountability projects for the International Center for Transitional Justice, and facilitating global operations at political risk research consultancy Eurasia Group. She has spoken at the University of Oxford, re:publica, Katapult Future Fest, and the School of Visual Arts. She currently works as Director of Communications at Berkman Klein for Internet and Society at Harvard University.

Sam represents the third generation of her family to attend university on full scholarship.
