Molly Laas is an alumnus of Data & Society. She was a 2019 Mellon/ACLS Public Fellow and was an editor at Data & Society. She earned her PhD from the History of Science, Medicine, and Technology program at the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2017, and was previously an affiliated researcher of the Medical History and Medical Ethics Department at the Medical Center of the University of Göttingen in Germany. Prior to graduate school, she worked as a journalist, writing about federal biomedical research policy.
