Sam Hinds Garcia leads strategic engagement with external audiences for Data & Society. As a creative strategist, Hinds Garcia works closely with subject experts to envision and cultivate resonant stories, products, and experiences from their research insights.
Her previous roles include communications design studio Tact Department, international public/political art nonprofit Creative Time, digital media project The New Inquiry, post-conflict accountability NGO the International Center for Transitional Justice, and political risk research consultancy Eurasia Group. She co-founded the first digital audiovisual documentary on millennial generation.
She has a special focus on creative direction, media practitioner engagement, and interdisciplinary ideation.
